How long does it take to get an engineer started? Up to 3 weeks from agreed requirements to the engineer’s first working day. That covers sourcing or internal matching, your interviews, and contract setup.
Do I pay for vacations, holidays and sick leave? No. You pay only for time actually worked. Vacations, public holidays, sick leave, bench time, equipment, licenses, office space, HR and training all sit on the FusionWorks side of the invoice.
Who employs the engineers? FusionWorks does. The company handles salaries, payroll taxes, benefits, equipment, workspace and licenses. You direct the work and assign the tasks, exactly as with an in-house employee.
Can I interview candidates before they join my team? Yes. Every proposed team member passes interviews with your representatives before an offer is made. You select on both hard and soft skills.
What does “AI-equipped engineers” actually mean? Each engineer arrives with the AI toolchain and review discipline used on every FusionWorks project — nothing for you to set up or license. Overnight, automated pipelines review the day’s code and run security and compliance checks, so findings are on the desk by morning. You are still billed 8*5.
Can I scale the team up or down? Yes, in both directions, on 30 days’ notice per engineer. There are no bench costs when you scale down and no hiring costs when you scale up.
How is staff augmentation different from a dedicated team? In staff augmentation you pay one hourly or monthly rate per engineer and FusionWorks sets compensation. In the dedicated team (cost-plus) model you negotiate salaries with the team directly and pay a separate, fixed management fee — full cost transparency, more involvement from you.
How do I keep visibility on what the team is doing? A staff monitoring tool and a delivery lead are included at no additional cost. The delivery lead is accountable to you for the placement, not just to FusionWorks.
