Our client is looking for an Analytics Engineer to support their marketing analytics function. The role requires a strong combination of hands-on SQL skills, BI, marketing analytics expertise, and stakeholder-facing communication, with the ability to work independently and translate business questions into actionable data insights.
Responsibilities
- Support the marketing analytics team and internal stakeholders.
- Translate stakeholder requests into data models, reports, and SQL queries.
- Develop Superset Dashboards for Marketing Users (Channels & Website).
- Work with marketing performance data and KPIs.
- Build, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical models.
- Investigate data quality issues and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with a strategic lead while being able to work autonomously on day-to-day analytics tasks.
- Ad-hoc analysis on marketing activities and campaigns.
- Adjustment of tracking events/conversions for reporting.
Required Skills
- Strong SQL proficiency (must be able to independently write and troubleshoot complex queries).
- Analytics Engineering experience.
- Marketing analytics background.
- Experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Ability to independently gather requirements and deliver insights.
Must-Have Domain Knowledge
- Marketing KPIs and performance measurement.
- Metrics such as:
- Cost per Lead (CPL)
- Conversion Rate
- Lead Volume
- Clicks / Click-Through Rate (CTR)
- Marketing funnel analysis and campaign performance reporting.
- Working with non-technical stakeholders and marketing teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4+ years of Analytics Engineering experience.
- Strong SQL practitioner who uses SQL daily.
- Previous experience supporting marketing or growth marketing teams.
- Comfortable acting as a sparring partner for stakeholders and challenging requirements.
- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical thinking combined with business understanding.
