FusionWorks at TechArena 2026: what we took back
We went to TechArena in Stockholm with a clear focus: strengthen our presence in Sweden and the Nordics and turn meetings into concrete next steps. The trip followed our completion of the TechStep Sweden programme, so we arrived with context, partners, and a pipeline to work on.
The week produced real outcomes. We signed a contract at the venue and moved several conversations into structured follow-up. Evenings were spent doing the unglamorous part of conference travel: writing proposals, aligning details, and pushing decisions forward.
Meanwhile, our delivery team in Moldova kept shipping. That continuity is part of how we operate.
AI changes the delivery model
The most important theme we brought back is simple: AI is not just a coding accelerator, it changes the workflow.
Passing by a talk with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Arthur Mensch, CEO of Mistral AI, we caught an interesting angle: AI transforms energy into intelligence.
Countries that can’t easily export surplus renewable energy may convert it into AI compute and export intelligence instead of electricity. That reframes AI infrastructure as a strategic asset – a kind of digital oil. It’s a different perspective from the common narrative of AI as only an energy consumer.
Founders Running Club: networking that doesn’t feel fake
One of the most memorable parts of the week started outside the venue: a Founders Running Club run in freezing Stockholm weather. It’s a surprisingly good way to meet people, no small talk, just shared effort and real conversations. We’re seriously considering bringing this format to Moldova as part of our own tech community events.
